THE DUBEL COLLECTION

Painted between 2022 and 2024, these works examine how larger bodies are judged, controlled, and made to conform. They explore the quiet pressures that dictate who gets to take up space – and on whose terms.

This collection formed my solo exhibition at The Libertine in London with Red Eight Gallery as part of The Dubel Emerging Artist of the Year Prize. It continues my exploration of how bodies are regulated, and the ways those expectations shape identity, autonomy, and visibility.
